Who is responsible
DAILY is an independent game operated by Martim Ferreira. Questions, corrections and feedback can be sent to mail@playdailygame.com.
How a challenge is prepared
Each game begins with one identifiable football player. The clues are arranged from broad to specific so that football knowledge is useful before the final reveal. Names, accepted spellings and clue order are checked in the private preview before a challenge is scheduled.
A challenge stays unpublished while it is incomplete. Category preview pages are also kept out of search results until that category has a real game ready to play.
Fair answers and scoring
Accepted answers can include common spellings or an established short form of the same player’s name. Capital letters, accents and ordinary punctuation do not decide whether a correct name is accepted.
A solved game starts with 700 correctness points. Up to 250 efficiency points reward using fewer clues and guesses. A speed bonus is capped at 50 points and decreases between 20 seconds and five minutes, so speed never outweighs knowing the answer. An unsolved game scores zero.
Corrections
If a clue is inaccurate, ambiguous or unfair, send the challenge date and the issue by email. We review the challenge and can correct or withdraw it. Technical reports should include the page and browser, but never a password, sign-in code or payment detail.
Advertising and the game
Advertising does not determine an answer, a clue, a score or a leaderboard position. Display ads sit outside the active guessing controls. A paid ad-free option changes advertising only; it does not give extra points or a competitive advantage.
