How scoring works
Solve the player to earn a 700-point correctness base. The first clue and first guess preserve the full 250-point efficiency bonus; each extra clue removes 60 points and each extra guess removes 20. Speed can add no more than 50 points and stops decreasing after five minutes. An unsolved challenge receives zero.
Official and practice play
Your first daily attempt is the official one used for ranks and streaks. Completed challenges later move to the archive for practice. Practice lets you enjoy an older game without rewriting a past daily result or competing with someone who played under different conditions.
Questions players ask
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can play as a guest. An account keeps your public name, profile, streak and leaderboard history across devices.
- Do practice games affect the leaderboard?
- No. Replayed archive challenges are practice. Their scores do not change the official daily table or your daily streak.
- What happens if there is no challenge today?
- DAILY shows a clear pause message instead of inventing a result. You can use the archive while the next reviewed challenge is prepared.
